For anyone that loves a good BBQ, you’ll have heard of some pretty big brand names. Looking about in a community Forum, Facebook perhaps to find a smoking machine that suits your needs. If you’ve seen the Weber Genesis series then you’ll know you’ll have found the BBQ for you. After all, you just need that little bit more reassurance to go out and buy one and that’s what I’m here to do.
I’ll give you an in depth look at some of the smokers in the Weber Genesis series, I’ll point out their good bits, their bad bits and everything in-between so you can make an informed decision on your brand new purchase.
Weber 66010001 Genesis II E-310
The Weber Genesis Series is a gas smoker BBQ and it’s one of their iconic designed pieces. It Weber’s well crafted three-burner Genesis line, and you’ll see they’ve made some pretty good improvements. If you know about Weber you’d expect some high standards in quality when it comes to a Weber grill. If you consider the offering from them of the Weber kettle grill you’d be hard pressed to get something better from them.
The Genesis II E-310 comes with some new technology called the “grease management system”. Sounds like hyped up marketing but if you’ve ever had to tackle a long neglected grease tray this is a welcome addition.

What’s Good About The Weber Genesis II E-310?
One of the most important things a gas grill needs to do is retain heat. If it’s losing heat then as a result, you’ll need to burn more fuel to keep it at a high heat, which in turn cooks the outside out your food and not just the inside. I think we can all agree that’s not a good thing by any margin.
The Weber Genesis series have multiple gas burners and with the E-310 you get 3 of them so spread heat evenly around. It takes about 8 minutes for the grill to reach pre-cooking temperature of 500 degrees if you’re blazing all 3.
The main cooking area consists of two porcelain coated iron grates with a massive 513 square inches of space to cook your food. With the even gas distribution you can maximise and organise your barbecue like a Michelin chef. With such huge cooking space, it makes the Weber Genesis E-310 one of our best buy models.
What Isn’t To Like?
Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with a rotisserie burner or a side burner for you to quickly do some of your favourite toppings while the meat is cooking away.
Disappointingly the warming rack doesn’t have the ambition of the main cooking area, it’s rather small size under testing can hold about 10 hamburgers. Understanding how you feed yours at a barbecue is key to know if this is a drawback or not.
Top Reason To Buy!
Weber do manufacturer some study pieces of equipment. One of the best reasons to purchase any of their ranges is the warranty. They come with a full 10 years guarantee. That’s an entire decades worth of piece of mind, and it shows how confident they are that you’ll love their products.
